It comes with tri-color camouflages (pacified nation).
This WG choice dos not unanimous. A lot of people wants an historical skin.
I proposed to change it. This new ship is very important for me because I am french !!

Heyo,
since I have recently started to sit down to make small edits to textures, I have now decided to make some complete skins myself.
I have very little experience in modding textures, so any advice, criticism, suggestion, etc is always welcome!
The skins are mostly rust free, because I’m too noob to make convincing looking weathering effects.
Aside from that, they will mostly be designed to be compatible with Tanz’ textures. I strongly suggest having a look at Tanz’ thread (and the other ones in the spoiler)!

Installation instructions: Simply extract the contents of the included .zip files into the latest res_mods folder if your World of Warships directory.
Note: This mod will change the camo applied on the ships, not the textures underneath. If you are using a camo remover or different ship textures, this mod may conflict with them.
Scharnhorst: This one is based mostly off photos of Scharnhorst shortly after she was completed.
Warspite: This one is based off of her original appearance before she was given the teal and tan camouflage that she has now. There was just something I really liked about that clean look so I decided to give her that appearance once again. The name plate on the rear of the ship still says Warspite with this camo on.

I always find that camouflage are very limited in World of Warships.
All ships show the same camouflage pattern. Only the colors seems to be different.
Since last patch 0.5.2.4, premium ships have unique camouflage. Why not all ships ?
The objective of my mod is to give an unique camouflage for each ship.
So I have drawn pattern files, choosen colors and adjusted mapping. Then I have assigned it to each ship to created a unique combination. It is not a skin mod, but a camouflage mod.
It’s really important because you keep the bonus by using camo !!! As usual, you need to buy with credits the camouflage.
camouflage Type 1, 2 and 5 for these cruisers and battleships : Phoenix, Omaha, Cleveland, Pensacola, New Orleans, Baltimore, Des Moines, Wyoming, Colorado, North Carolina, Iowa, Montana, Myoko, Mogami, Ibuki, Zao, Myogi, Kongo, Fuso, Nagato, Amagi, Izumo, Yamato, Svietlana, Kirov, Budyonny, Schors, Chapayev, DM Donskoï, Moskva, Karlsruhe, Koenigsberg, Yorck, Admiral Hipper, Roon and Hindenburg

A very simple skin for the Moskva, giving the ship a more contemporary look. Of course some of the small stuff in the ship it’s still blue, to avoid messing with other ships, but it might still contain recolored parts shared along the VMF tech tree.

This is a skin mod for the Yamato(

The original Shogun Battleship has only 2 turrets, to make this mod for the Yamato, I had to add one turret, and to longthen the hull.
Now the turrets are made by FABAJI Industry, they’re 1.155 times larger than Yamato’s stock turrets.
There are too much things changed, so I’m about to call it “Shogun Battleship Kai II”
AA guns and secondaries are hidden in the hull, so the shells would fly out through the side armor…
Main guns are moved backward, but they can fire normally
Aircraft is Seawing/Skywing also from RA3.
Attention! Attention! Attention!
This mod changes too much things, so when playing with it you should at least remember that the collision model is still the Yamato’s. (This is very important when avoiding torpedoes)
In the same way, if you are a cruiser and you want to hit ennemy Yamato’s superstructure, you may need to aim the 2# turret now.

Hey there! Jack Binary here, DD player and part of the Galactic Horizon model-making & Texturing team! (I’ll just call us Team Horizon for now). Making my debut in World of warships skins!
Just a couple of skins I made for the T8 IJN DDs, Akizuki for her own ship, and Hamakaze to represent her class!
More may be coming eventually, depends on how much free time I get from my courses!
I’m open to suggestions on future skins, just note that I’m currently only working on DD skins. Tell me the ship and what character you want it to be! (Kantai only, and I would very much prefer the character be of the ship’s class)
